Day 4 - El Calafate views

It is a beautiful day. Sunny with much less wind - about 10-15 mph. Today we planned a tour with a group to the hills above El Calafate to get a view of the lake and the Andes. The snow capped mountains and peaks were stunning.

I will try again to get the pictures and comments in one place. We originally planned to trek down but once there, it looked pretty (very steep) steep and decided to stay on the van with the others. Interestingly we were the only ones who opted for the treking.

Along the way, I spotted two hares - fairly large with very large ears. The are the South American version. They were moving too fast for pictures.

Tomorrow back to Bueno Aires to start the cruise!
